Just a few kilometres from Žilina, on the way to the Malá Fatra national park, the restoration of a Baroque château is underway. The four-star hotel Kaštieľ Gbeľany will offer its guests attractive services in both period and completely new premises from December 2015.
Thanks to the layout and link between the restored historic building and the new building, guests will be able to choose from several types of hotel rooms with a total capacity of 110 beds. The stylish rooms will be elegantly furnished and exceptionally large, with a bathroom and toilet. Facilities will include a television, Internet connection, mini-bar and safe.
Hotel guests, and outside visitors will be able to use the two bowling alleys or relax around the pool with its access to the terrace in the park and in several types of sauna. The modern wellness facilities will include a Kneipp foot bath, whirlpool and relaxation room. The reception rooms and library on the château’s ground floor, and the wine cellar in the basement are ideal for organising family celebrations, company events and business meetings in attractive premises with a historic atmosphere. For larger events, the conference room can be used, with a capacity of 180 people, equipped with the latest technology.
Several newly-weds have already taken advantage of the unique charm of the château and its English park as a background for their wedding photographs. In the future, the château and its grounds will make the dreams of many a bride of a stylish, romantic wedding come true. The flexibility of the premises can suit smaller wedding parties (up to 30 guests) as well as large-scale weddings (up to 120 people). In fine weather, the wedding ceremony and banquet can take place in the park. Wedding guests will be able to use the hotel for accommodation, hairdressing and make-up services. A grand suite will be made ready for the newly-weds on their wedding night.
